My weekend
Last Saturday, the whole bunch of us went down to oxford street via the tube. The shopping centre of London was littering with shopaholics. As i stepped out of the tube station, the sign topshop caught my eyes and the next destination was set. Sally and me marched in with few hundreds of shoppers into the magistic fashion house stocking all the latest autumn designs. Price was not pretty much of a bargain... it could punture quite a big hole in your pocket. :) Next, we went to Miss Selfridge...nothing much but a lot of skimpy clothings...which i think i wont wear it for autumn... cos its pretty cold!
Since we where in a hurry for a lunch appointment in Eastham, we quickly shop at Chinatown. Buying all the essential spices to make a good home cook malaysian meal...Yummy! At lunch at 4 pm in an indian curry house...Fantastic lunch...! Next, make a few rounds at Eastham and discovered that it was a great place for budget shoppers... Hehe so tat marks my next destination!
On Sunday, we had an early rise and embarked to petticoat lane. There is the morning market, equilvalent to malaysia's pasar malam. Stuffs there are pretty cheap and reasonable...but beware of PICKPOCKETS! Really....my fren alreadi kena pickpocketed.
Next we went to Spitafield market...tat market host hundreds of shops ranging for arts to confectionery to bakery to vegetable and food. The aroma of freshly bake cakes is just so irrisistable although the price is about 2 pounds a slice... :(
At night, we suddenly decided to move to canary wharf. This place host alot of office buildings which is the modern sit of london. U can see all the main banks offices situated in the heart of canary wharf... As we stroll along the canary watching spectacular manifastation of architectual building...we were wondering why arent there anyone around. Take note...Brits stays home on Sundays...
The nite view was really breathtaking... the strong wind beating against your cheek is an experience to be sought after. We had a dinner in a posh restaurant. Having pizza and wine. I got all flushed up as usual but at least i still could walk in and think properly. :) This place is totally recomended to go for paktor...a posh dinner a lovely evening walk along the canary with beautiful scenery. It just paints a perfect picture... :)
Thats about it...
THE END.
