Day 1: Barcelona

Well arrived at the Girona Airport around 9 plus and took a bus straight to Barcelona.Official time of arrival, 11 am. Quickly we find our way to La Rambla to check in to the Hostel. FOUND: Sun and Moon Hostel. After settling in, we went and have lunch- McDDDDDDDs. Sad rite? La Rambla is the most famous street in Spain, alive during the day and night. Plenty of restaurants and shops all along the street.

After lunch we make a move to the cathedral. We passed by Palau de Generalitat and Casa de la Ciutat.The Barcelona cathedral architecture was amazing, sadly its under restoration on the outside. Inside, its a huge huge space displaying all the paintings and statues and relic of saints.Beautiful carving all over... Snap a few pictures...then ciao....

Next stop...jalan-jalan then reach picasso(not sure about the spelling) museum. His drawings illustrates poems and literature at his period of time. In my opinion, it looks like a kids drawing! Seriously! :P

After ahwhile, the sleepless nite knockout kicks in, I only had an hour sleep last night cos i went and watch king kong the night before and had to wake up at 3 am to catch the 6 am flight! So all of us agree to hit the sack at 4pm....

8pm... stomach started growling time to wake up! So all of us were starving and ready to try some spanish food. It was a difficult choice to make on where to have dinner....too many restaurants. At the end we decided on Genove. We were all clueless on what is written on the menu, luckily there was an English menu and at least the waitress knew how to speak some English.

First thing that we ordered was-AQUA- mineral water. bloody 2.10 euro for a mere 330 ml bottle. Kena tipu.... Soon....our order turn out well, a whole table full with Tapas(spanish snacks/fingers) and paella. We eat till pao pao. Love the patatas with cheese sauce-YUMMMMMMYYYYYY!

After makan,went jalan-jalan a bit around the area then balik ZZZzzzZZZZzzzz.....
